Zoe and Those Feline Blues

pose 2 in condo

I can hear you all now. Zoe’s got the blues? Yes, I do . . . well, I did. Now I’m doing the happy dance! Before you go diagnosing me with some sort of mood disorder, let me explain this story of mixed emotions.

Before I do, though—a big “hello!” to my fellow felines, and to those friends of the canine and humanine persuasion, as well. To anyone who may not know me, my name is Zoe and I am a fabulous feline (so fabulous, I coin new words as needed to suit my purpose). I write about my adventures, and sometimes about my life with my human, Emily, which can be an adventure.

I hope you all are having a wonderful summer, though its end is fast approaching. I hate endings, don’t you? Some say an end is just a new beginning. “When one…

Zoe’s Happy New Year Story

Zoe’s Happy New Year Story

front viewHappy 2016, Everyone! Zoe the Fabulous Feline here. I hope everyone had a very enjoyable and magical Holiday Season. Mine was quite draining. Between all the activities and good food from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, followed by a very rowdy celebration on New Year’s Eve . . . well, I am still recuperating!

My human, however, leads a more sedate (read boring) life and has nothing from which to recuperate. So I hope you don’t mind, but since she is not exhausted, I am giving her my spot this month. Emily’s story may not be as interesting as those from Yours Truly, but it’s a good story nevertheless. I’ll be back next month with a Valentine’s Day story for you. Stay tuned!

Profile Pic_My Name Is ZoeHello to my fans and friends! This is Zoe the Fabulous Feline, and the story I’m about to tell you is true.

Those who know me know that I used to be a strictly indoor cat. A few months back, I snuck out of the house and that’s when I met Bella, a dog I initially thought was a wolf and who is now a dear, sweet friend. Bella and I have gone on several road trips together since then, and have always had great adventures!

Sad to say, I have not seen Bella for a while. Her family went south for the winter and I will not see her again until she comes home in the spring. I miss her! And with my best friend not around, I got real bored real fast. So, yesterday I snuck outside and roamed the streets in search of…

ZOE CLOSE-UP ZOE CLOSE-UP

I am one felicitous feline! I am so excited that, just before I sat at the computer to tell you all about it, I was doing the happy dance! But first, just in case there are folks out there who do not know me, please allow me to introduce myself.

I am Zoe, the Fabulous Feline. I write stories about my adventures in life. I write about Emily sometimes, too. She’s the human I adopted, and she’s tolerable, as humans go. Okay, I will admit it; I do love her. (I have to say that; after all, she does feed me and scratch my neck.)

If you have been following my stories, you know that I have a sister named Jasmine . . . “Jaz” for short. And if you have not been following my stories – well, why haven’t you? Only kidding!

Zoe and Bella’s Excellent Adventure…

Chris The Story Reading Ape's Blog

Hello to all my fans and friends of the feline, canine, and humanine persuasion. Have I got a story for you!

excellent adventureI – Zoe the Fabulous Feline, owner and master of one foolish (but loveable) human named Emily, good friend of Bella the Courageous Canine – I, Zoe, have done something I thought impossible a few short days ago.

Those who know me know that I have always been an indoor cat. Not that I chose that lifestyle for myself; if I had my druthers, I would be out running around, nosing into all sorts of things and maybe . . . just maybe . . . getting into all kinds of trouble. I guess Emily knows that, because she will not let me go outside. She did say something about not wanting ticks and fleas around me. I have no idea what those are but I bet that, if…
